Dr. Thomas S. Harris, Jr.

Welcome to BeFIT Counseling! My name is Thomas Harris, founder of BeFIT Counseling, aimed to provide Faith-Integrated Therapy (FIT) that combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with biblical principles. As a pastor and chaplain, my passion is to serve individuals and families on a healing journey by combining mental health support and resources with faith.

After overcoming personal and professional challenges, I know firsthand the importance of mental, physical, and spiritual health. As a pastoral counselor with experience in chaplaincy, crisis response, marriage, trauma, and veterans' care, I have developed a deep commitment to helping people restore balance.

My passion is not only to help individuals and families but also to provide a platform for other pastoral counselors to counsel and connect with others. BeFIT Counseling exists to come alongside churches by filling in technology gaps, with the ability to connect churches by either providing counselors who are passionate about integrating faith into their practice or providing a platform for counselors already connected to the church to have a way to counsel remotely online.

Whether you are a church leader looking for additional resources for your congregation, a counselor interested in expanding your practice, or someone seeking care and guidance, BeFIT Counseling offers a safe, secure, and convenient platform to provide healing and hope.
